Sunflower Farm is 150 acres of forests and ponds and has some lovely, peaceful trails. Plus, we are south of Sixth Depot Lake, the first of the Depot Lake system as featured in Michael Ondaatje’s book, “In The Skin of a Lion”. This connects to thousands of acres of bush in the undeveloped Puzzle Lake Provincial Park, where really the only living things you encounter won’t be on two feet. Come and enjoy nature as its most peaceful and natural.
If you spot a Fork-tailed Flycatcher on your visit to Sunflower Farm, believe us, you’ll be the only one recording it on your list.
