We’ve been growing food here at Sunflower Farm for about 20 years, commercially for a decade and for the last 5 years we’ve run a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) and provided a weekly basket of produce for up to 40 members during our 16 week growing season. Cam has been growing food for 40 years. So if you’re interested in learning more about growing food and techniques to grow more food organically and how best to store it, save seeds for next year, etc. then this is the place for you. May to October are the best months to see things in action, but if you just want to learn more you can come anytime and we’ll share what we’ve learned. And you’ll leave with a copy of Cam’s “The All You Can Eat Gardening Handbook” to fill in any gaps. If you love food and if you love the idea of growing more of your own, come and let us share our passion with you!
Oh, and the “All You Can EAT” component refers to stuff we harvest from the garden while you’re here. So if our kale’s ready and you love kale, then it’s “All You Can Eat Kale” and you will be sooo healthy afterwards you won’t believe it!
